Welcome to Gruffies. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gruffies website and, where we offer products for purchase directly, your purchases from us.
The website is operated by Green Gruff Inc., trading as Gruffies. Throughout these Terms, “Gruffies,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that business. “You” and “your” refer to the person using the website or purchasing our products.
Please read these Terms before using our services or placing an order. Where we ask you to accept these Terms, including during checkout or account registration, you should proceed only if you agree.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Any shipping, returns, promotional, or subscription terms expressly made available before your purchase also apply to the relevant transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or replaces any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To place an order or enter into a contract with Gruffies, you must be legally capable of doing so under the laws that apply to you. When purchasing on behalf of another person or a business, you confirm that you have the necessary authority.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when placing orders, creating an account, or contacting us. If accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
You must not use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, introduce malicious software, attempt to access restricted systems, interfere with website security, impersonate another person, or infringe someone else’s rights.
Gruffies products are treats intended for dogs. They should be used according to the instructions and suitability information on the individual product packaging and should not replace a complete and balanced diet.
Website descriptions, articles, frequently asked questions, and other educational materials provide general information. They do not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
References to nutritional or wellness support—including digestive health, skin and coat, joint and hip support, or calmness—do not mean that a product will diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease. Individual dogs may respond differently, and we do not guarantee a particular health, behavioral, or other outcome.
These statements do not remove any rights relating to misleading descriptions, product defects, safety, or other legally enforceable product commitments.
We aim to describe our products accurately. Product photographs are illustrative, and minor differences in packaging or appearance may occur. Such differences do not permit us to supply a materially different product from the one ordered.
Product formulations may change over time. Always review the packaging of the product you receive. If its ingredients or other important details differ materially from the information provided when you ordered, contact us before using it.
Before giving a Gruffies product to your dog, read its ingredient list, feeding directions, warnings, and storage instructions. Do not assume that a product is suitable for every dog or free from allergens because it is described as natural or organic.
Consult a qualified veterinarian before introducing a product when your dog has known allergies, an existing medical condition, a prescribed diet, or is taking medication. Seek veterinary guidance where suitability is uncertain, including for puppies or pregnant or nursing dogs.
Follow the feeding guidance on the packaging, supervise your dog while eating, and provide access to fresh drinking water. Keep products and packaging out of the reach of children and prevent pets from accessing an entire package unsupervised.
Store products according to their labels. Do not feed products that appear spoiled, contaminated, or affected by damaged or tampered packaging, or that are beyond a stated expiry date.
If your dog becomes unwell or shows signs of an adverse reaction, stop using the product and contact a veterinarian. Seek urgent veterinary care when symptoms are severe. Do not delay veterinary treatment while waiting for a response from Gruffies.
Please contact us promptly about suspected contamination, damaged packaging, unexpected product changes, or a possible adverse reaction.
Where available, provide the product name, purchase details, batch or lot number, best-before or expiry date, photographs, and a description of the concern. Keep the original packaging and remaining product safely stored unless a veterinarian, regulator, or recall notice advises otherwise.
We may request reasonable additional information to investigate a concern. Not having every requested item does not automatically remove any legal rights you may have.
If a product is recalled or a safety notice is issued, stop using the affected product and follow the published instructions. Any recall-related refund, replacement, or disposal arrangements will be explained in the notice.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from reporting a concern directly to a regulator or other appropriate authority.
This section applies when you purchase directly from Gruffies.
The applicable currency, product price, taxes, shipping charges, and other payable charges will be shown before you complete your purchase. Prices and promotions may change for future orders, but we will not increase the agreed price of an accepted order without your consent.
You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we received your order; it is not acceptance unless it expressly says otherwise. We accept your order when we issue an acceptance or dispatch confirmation, subject to applicable law.
Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a legitimate reason, such as unavailable stock, an unsuccessful payment, suspected fraud, a delivery restriction, or a material listing error. If we cannot fulfil an order for which payment has been taken, we will notify you and promptly refund the amount due.
If we discover a material pricing or description error, we will explain it and, where appropriate, offer you the choice of proceeding on corrected terms or cancelling for a refund. We will not make a material substitution without your agreement.
For direct orders, available delivery destinations, shipping charges, delivery methods, and estimated shipment or delivery times will be provided before purchase or in the applicable Shipping Policy.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly if you notice an error. We will explain any reasonable redelivery charges arising from an address error before asking you to approve them.
Delivery estimates may be affected by circumstances such as severe weather or carrier disruption. However, describing a date as an estimate does not remove any applicable obligations concerning timely shipment, delay notices, cancellation, or refunds.
If we cannot ship within the stated or legally required period, we will notify you and provide any choices required by law, including agreeing to a revised date or cancelling for a refund.
Please contact us about missing or damaged deliveries. We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy where required. We do not treat our delivery obligations as satisfied merely because a parcel has been handed to a carrier.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the risk of accidental loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to you or your nominated recipient using the agreed delivery method.
For direct purchases, contact us as soon as possible to request an order change or cancellation. We will try to accommodate requests before dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, a return may be necessary instead. This does not limit any statutory cancellation rights.
Damaged, defective, unsafe, or incorrect products. Contact us promptly if your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, is defective, or raises a safety concern. We will assess the issue and provide the refund, replacement, or other remedy required by applicable law.
We may request reasonable evidence, such as purchase information or photographs, but we will not impose unreasonable conditions on exercising your legal rights. Where the problem is our responsibility, we will cover any necessary return shipping.
Voluntary returns and satisfaction requests. For purchases from Green Gruff’s online store, consult its published returns and refund policy. Gruffies six-packs have a 60-day satisfaction guarantee measured from delivery: opened bags and discounted six-packs qualify for a refund of the product price, excluding shipping charges. Contact [email protected] within that period.
For other eligible purchases, the published general policy requires contact within 30 days. Unopened, undamaged products in their original packaging may qualify for a refund, credit, or exchange; opened products qualify for store credit, and discounted products are excluded from general refunds. The six-pack guarantee takes priority over those general restrictions. Contact the store for return instructions and a shipping label. Purchases from Amazon or another retailer follow that seller’s policy.
These voluntary policies do not remove mandatory rights concerning faulty, unsafe, or misdescribed goods.
Refunds. Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method, unless another method is agreed or required by law. We will process refunds within applicable legal deadlines. We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund where you are legally entitled to one.
Please contact us for return instructions before sending products back, without allowing this request to delay any time-sensitive statutory cancellation notice.
Gruffies products may be available through independent retailers and online marketplaces. When you purchase from another seller, your sales contract is with the seller identified at checkout.
That seller’s prices, payment terms, delivery arrangements, and returns procedures apply to the transaction. Our direct-order provisions do not automatically apply to those purchases.
For order-related matters, contact the seller first. You may also contact Gruffies about product information, quality concerns, or suspected safety issues, regardless of where you purchased the product.
Nothing in this section excludes any responsibilities that Gruffies may have as a manufacturer, distributor, or otherwise under applicable law.
Promotions, discount codes, bundles, and special offers are subject to the conditions disclosed with the offer, including eligibility, expiry dates, product exclusions, and any restrictions on combining discounts.
We may change or end an offer for future purchases, but this will not affect an eligible order already accepted under that offer.
If Gruffies offers subscriptions or recurring deliveries, the price, billing frequency, renewal arrangements, cancellation procedure, and any applicable processing cutoff will be disclosed before enrollment.
Recurring charges require your express consent. You may cancel future renewals using the cancellation method disclosed when you subscribe. Cancellation will not automatically reverse an order already processed, except where the subscription terms or applicable law provide otherwise.
Any required renewal reminders, price-change notices, or opportunities to cancel will be provided before the relevant renewal.
The Gruffies name, logos, website designs, photographs, graphics, written content, and other materials are owned by Gruffies or used with permission, except where otherwise indicated.
You may view the website and save or print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use, provided ownership notices remain intact.
You must not reproduce, sell, commercially distribute, or use our branding in a way that implies an endorsement or association without permission, except where applicable law permits that use.
These Terms do not restrict lawful quotation, criticism, review, or other legally protected uses.
You retain ownership of reviews, photographs, and other original content you submit.
By submitting content for publication on our website, you grant Gruffies a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, format, and display that content for the purpose for which you submitted it. This does not transfer ownership of your content to Gruffies.
We will seek separate permission where needed to use your content, name, or image in advertising beyond that original purpose.
Your submissions must reflect genuine experiences and must not infringe another person’s rights, disclose private information without permission, or contain unlawful material. Any relevant relationship with Gruffies, such as receiving a free product, should be disclosed.
We may moderate spam, fraudulent reviews, unlawful content, or material that violates these standards. We will not remove a review merely because it is negative or penalize you for sharing an honest opinion.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and share personal information and how you can exercise applicable privacy rights.
We may send communications necessary to administer your account or order, respond to an enquiry, or communicate an important product safety issue.
Marketing communications are handled separately and are subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements. Agreeing to these Terms does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive marketing.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement. This does not remove any responsibilities we have for service providers acting on our behalf.
We take reasonable care in operating the website but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature will always be available or free from errors.
We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, or other legitimate operational reasons. We will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary disruption.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for business losses, including lost profits or business opportunities, arising from your personal use of the website or products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms removes remedies available under applicable product safety, product liability, consumer protection, or privacy laws. In particular, our product-use guidance does not automatically make you responsible for harm caused by an unsafe or defective product.
Any limitation in this section applies only to the extent permitted by the laws applicable to your claim.
We may restrict or suspend access to an account or website feature where reasonably necessary to address fraud, a security threat, unlawful conduct, or a material breach of these Terms.
Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Suspension does not remove rights relating to existing orders, refunds, or complaints.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or legal obligations. The updated version will show a revised effective date.
Changes will apply prospectively. The terms accepted when an order was placed will continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. We will provide notice and obtain further consent where required.
These Terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
Please contact us using the details below so we can try to resolve a concern. Doing so is not a condition of exercising a legal right or making a complaint to a regulator, payment provider, or court.
Nothing in these Terms requires compulsory arbitration, waives participation in a collective claim where legally available, or removes a right to bring proceedings in a court available to you under applicable law.
If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be ineffective only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally permissible.
A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
